Ya, IMO if you are doing ANY rebuild and your oil pump has more than 50k on it, you should just get a new one. $200 isn't jack during a rebuild and it's a hell of a lot better than having to tear into your freshly "rebuilt" motor and rebuild it again if that old pump fails.

I put a 3.73 in mine for my vegas trip and got about 25 MPG highway. HUGE improvement over my usual 21-22 mpg. I didn't notice the car being any slower, but its a slow car even with the 4.3.
