Alarm with built in turbo timer

I have a viper 5701. It's a top of the line alarm with remote start and turbo timer without the big-ass remote. It's still 2-way and has a 1/2 mile range which is fine for me. I'd recommend it.

Has anyone got any HD clips of their MKIII?

Very cool vid. I have some ok photos, but nothing worthy of something like that. Good luck with the new version!

Holding deposit debacle, any legal advice?

Thanks for the good wishes guys. We've definitely learned our lessons when it comes to having everything in writing and/or recorded. With our new place, we made sure no money was exchanged until a full, written lease was signed.

Holding deposit debacle, any legal advice?

Well we had our court date today. We fucking lost. I'm so livid, we all are. The judge didn't give a rat's ass that the "receipt" wasn't initialed or that it had scribbled/crossed out info on it. At no point did he address whether it was a legally binding contract or not! All it came down...

Sears won't warranty craftsman torque wrench?!?

I have always known that sears doesn't warranty their torque wrenches for life, only 90 days or a year. :dunno: They've always been good to me, replacing really old wrenches with newer version counterparts. I'm not aware of any of the high quality companies that offer lifetime warranties *on...

Oil leak coming from somewhere above t-stat? (Many pics, 56K)

I haven't used the UV dye yet, but I think it may be the valve cover gaskets. I have replaced them within the last 2 years, but maybe its time for a new set of genuine toyota.

    Looking for Radar detector suggestions

Been beaten to death. Eveybody seems to like the Valentine One and the Escort Passport 8500. Valentine gives you the direction of the alert. Escort has a new version of theirs which uses GPS to track frequent "false alerts" and silences those areas. Bell has a good one too. Dont waste your...

Questions about paint and some other stuff, mostly just chat+q&a

Oh. Dammit. I read the post, but skimmed right over that. My bad. I'm sure there are dynamat knock-offs online, but it may be a total waste.

14 year old paint + 6 hours of elbow grease + Zaino products

Looks good, but you should get a tripod or a box to set the camera on or something so we can see it better. Nice work though!

Questions about paint and some other stuff, mostly just chat+q&a

For vibration dampening use dynamat. The new stuff is very effective and lightweight.

Canadian teenagers: Do not put beer bottles in your unconscious friend's ass.

Messing with passed out drunk people is a very common ritual. Shaving cream in the hand, marker on the face/arms/legs, whatever. Who decided shoving foreign objects up a buddies ass was a fun idea? Thats just fucked up. Silly Canadians.

    Noise Cancelling Headphones

My Shure earbuds are actually very good with cable noise. I've never noticed it. Though I have with some of the cheaper earbuds.

    Noise Cancelling Headphones

Crying kids are tough to drown out well with noise canceling. In ear headphones, like Shure earbuds, work better for that. ;) Noise canceling is pretty damn cool though.

    Cigars and Scotch

Not sure if it qualifies as "Scotch", but I do like the walker black label. Haven't had the pleasure of blue label yet, but maybe someday. Was just thinking earlier I should have a poker night in the new garage...
