damn, that actually looks pretty good from a distance. I might have to try that if I end up buying another mk3 with a worn interior.

    7mgte wire harness 5spd

As I recall Dr. Tweak is a member here and he redoes harnesses and from what I recall, he does excellent work. Might be a good option if you dont want to spend the full 700 or however much the new toyota one is.

    RIP 308 mk3's.

God that is so fucked. Just a lot of wasted materials. Do any of these go to junkyards? Is anything from the cars salvagable? Who the fuck trades in a 1997 Rolls Royce for anything under 25k? If I hadn't already lost faith in the American population...

My stupidity on display for everyone to see.

Haha, glad you guys are getting a kick out of it. I knew I was cutting it really close. I can tell about where true empty is because I've filled up a few times and put in 16.5 gallons. I know it doesn't run with much less than 1.5 gallons, but in 6 years of driving this is the first time I...

My stupidity on display for everyone to see.

So I had a very busy morning today. Ran a ton of errands and almost made it home to get to work on time. I had a two gallon jug of gas waiting for me at home. So close. Would have been on time for work had I made it another mile or so. Car died 3 separate times before it finally...

    MAJOR thanks due to SupraRX7Nut!

You're very welcome, buddy. I thoroughly enjoyed the late nights and hard work learning what a custom NA-T looks like. I'll have to call in some favors from you in the next few weeks. Maybe some blinker cover mending? ;) Now if I could only find a GTE to start my own project... :evil2: Can't...

Just grumbling... What have you forgotten to do when working on your car?

Glad to help, Christoph. You know I enjoy the pain. ;) Though now I'm dying to turbo my NA... :( Forgot a screwdriver on the inside fender of my Accord when I was 16. Drove about 50 miles with it there, got out and realized the hood looked crooked. Opened it to find the screwdriver propping up...

lets play a guessing game, wat do you think broke?

Even though you say you have pressure, I'd check the basics first. Slave, master, lines, fluid level...etc If all that checks out then the problem won't be fun and looks like you need to pull the trans.

    Just a rant...

Of course he'd be surprised/upset he owes a customer $1400+ cuz he hired a lazy/incompetent driver. Good luck and hope all gets sorted well.

    A/C Issues....

Guess #1: You're low or out of refrigerant. You'll need to find the leak(s) and/or replace seals and get it recharged. Guess #2: something in the system has failed and you'll need to do some diagnostic work. Consult TSRM.

Hey guys and gals, I seek your advice. I recently graduated with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. WooHoo! I am now trying to secure an engineering job in Colorado (and have been all spring/summer). I am having absolutely zero luck. Countless resume submissions, most with a cover letter...

Alarm with built in turbo timer

Car stays in neutral with e-brake on. It becomes absolutely critical that your parking brake is in good working order.

Alarm with built in turbo timer

You shouldn't disable the factory alarm, IMO. Most aftermarket alarms worth a damn have a specific output for factory alarm arm/disarm. When I lock my car, the factory alarm arms AND the viper arms. That way if ANY door is opened or lock is unlocked before I hit disarm the alarm sounds. Loud...
