Hmm... you may need to post a picture. The pads should slide in from the inside and go right into place. I'm not sure how the caliper could be stopping it. :dunno:
Do you maybe need to push the piston back into the caliper?
FWIW, I've spent many hours on each and I haven't found a single instance where the old farts on here were wrong and somebody on SF was right. For factual information, SM is impossible to beat on mk3 information. For viewing wealthy people's rides and projects along with random idiotic comments...
There is a positive and a negative. It runs on 12v so simply take the pump and use wires to connect it to the battery. Be careful if you do it directly since you wont have a fuse inline. If you connect it and it turns on, then you have some other problem. If nothing happens, you've got a bad...
Yeah, I haven't heard of many people staggering just the tires.
Tires will likely be purchased through a local business "Tire Source" in Boulder, CO. They tend to have prices equal to or better than tire rack if you include shipping and they do free mounting, balancing. Plus it's a small...
Hello everybody. I'm debating my tire options for the Supra. I have 17x8 FN01R-C wheels all around. I currently have 235/45/17 all season tires which are simply no good. I lose traction WOT with only 8-10 lbs boost in second gear.
My new tires will likely be BF goodrich G-force KDW 2's...
Holy crap man, FIX THAT STUD!
Once you've fixed that, you likely need some new rotors and pads. As poodles said, yours dont have the chamfer most pads will have. Those can help curb some brake noise. Do yourself a favor and make these a priority. That missing stud is asking for trouble and your...
While the engineering behind NASCAR is actually kinda cool, the actual event itself is tough for me to watch. I'd rather watch hours of technical videos on the physics and engineering behind NASCAR than watch half of an actual race. :P
Lol. No reason to have nightmares if you fix it right. ;)
Although when my 7M dies (as it inevitably will because at some point I will purposefully push it to the edge to prove what a stock head gasket can handle) I may be prepared to jump into the 90's and go 2JZ. Either that or take out the...
just get a stock pump. Should be super easy to find one. I really wouldn't bother with a random walbro when you don't have a clue if the rest of the car is even running right.

How much is some? More than a few ounces?
If so, the pump might be good. If not then I'd get a new pump. You can also drop the tank and try putting power to the connector of the fuel pump.

I'd say keep them. Just get new ones so they open when they are supposed to. Old ones can get soft and open too early. New ones should open at the correct pressure and will not "bleed" you oil pressure like worn out old ones might.
You can run without them, but for a DD they tend to add extra...
You should hear the fuel pump. If you can't hear the pump by jumpering the appropriate terminals in the diagnostics box, then the pump isn't running.
Most cars I've dealt with that sat for long need a new pump.
I don't recall what terminals need to be jumpered. Maybe b+ and e1? The tsrm will...
You hate turbos? I feel like this needs more discussion than anything regarding a swap that has been rather well documented. (people swap 2jz-ges all the time, info is on this forum, supraforums and its in the factory wiring diagrams)
I hate turbos is the same as saying "i hate efficiency and...
Even while "in business" countless customers complained of sending payment and never receiving parts. So actually, I'm not sure much has really changed, lol.
