Yep..I know how you feel...I bought mine w/out driving it...it wouldn't start, had it towed 70 miles home, got it running...BAM!!! BHG and blown turbo...:(

I am not really sure about the GE holding the same amount of power as the GTE...I would guess so, but since the GE has a higher compression ratio, there would be little to no room for errors when it comes to tuning...

I don't recall the Supra in taxi...there is also one in Bruce almighty... There is one, or two actually in the movie "Beverly Hills Brats" the daughter "Tiffany" drives it in a race against her brother in a corvette at the very beginning of the movie...it's a red 88 turbo targa w/ a license...

Yea, I like my targa top, but If I have it off for any length of time, it makes my interior all dirty...like a layer of this black sooty stuff will form all over the dash and seats... It's fun though...when it's not raining...lol

Yea, take the extra time and get some name brand stuff... I have heard that the knock-off MBC's can get all weird and spike, which isn't good, and can cause damage. I have never heard anything bad about the Dr. Jonez MBC... As for the BOV, if you want the sound, then get whichever one sounds...

My Supra is totally stock w/ 4 washers in the wastegate...I read online that I should be hitting around 10 psi...well, I only hit like 7-8...what could cause this?? Right now, I'm thinking either a small boost leak, or a worn out actuator spring...does this sound right?

Toyota hg will probably cost between $80-100...mine was $81.50 or something with a 10% discount.

hmm...I thought "Ishino" was the stock Toyota supplier... I threw the fel-pro gasket to the side and bought a stock Toyota one, it seemed to be a bit beefier...IDK, it also felt kinda sticky, like it could have a light coating of some sort of sealant...also some green little "sealant lines"...
