Green coolant cools fine, it just corrodes metal (aluminum mostly)...when I did my head gasket, the water jackets on the head gasket sealing surface had been eaten away to within a couple mm's of the combustion chamber...I had to have them re-welded. It was really bad.
The green coolant eroded...
I don't particulary like it...I guess the grill in front is pretty inventive and functional, but Boost Lee did the photoshopping as a joke...I thought it was funny.
Well...I haven't done much to the Supra for the last couple days...i did lube up the targa seals, and went to the Toyota dealer to get a nut for the exhaust manifold...but they gave me the wrong one...so I have to go back tomorrow...the old one hasn't worked it's way loose yet, BTW.
Damn...
I am using the green coolant right now, and have been for a while. I want to switch to red (or pink, I guess), but if I don't get ALL of the green out, won't it react with with the red coolant, and form like...clumps? How would I make sure all of the green coolant is out?
The grease is normal...it's dielectric grease to prevent the terminals from corroding IIRC...The key has to be in the "ON" position to see the flashing check engine light
