Okay I recently lowered my MKIII with JDM JZA70 Springs and KYB GR-2's...the ride height was lowered by about 1.3-1.5 inches...it is pretty close to the Eibach's lowering amount...
The ride is way stiffer, it really feels a lot better, not overly harsh. I highly recommend them, my Supra feels...
My car does this, but I don't think it has forged pistons :icon_conf...My 7M was rebuilt by the previous owner, and I don't know what kind of internals were used...but it definitely sounds like piston slap when it's cold, kinda sounds like a diesel engine until it warms up, then it goes away...
That paper clip you're using looks too big. Don't you have a smaller paper clip? I hope you didn't bend the terminals too badly. I use a piece of solid core wire, and it makes it much easier...hold on, I'll go get a pic of it.
My car is having this problem now that it is getting colder out...I replaced the time switch with a used one a while back, and cleaned my CSI when I did my head gasket...should I just check wiring? What else should I check?
The lip doesn't go well with the bumper...IMO...It needs to be closer to a stock lip, sharper looking. This new lip looks too bulgy...for lack of a better word.
Of course, that's all IMO...
I'll put that one in my sig once I get tired of this one...I spent too much time on this sig to not put it up. ;) Don't worry, I'll put it up eventually. hehe
