Yea, the o2 sensor wiring is likely what caused you to stall...I've heard it happen I think like twice on here, the o2 wires ground on the compressor housing, and blow one of the fuses (IIRC it was the EFI fuse)...

I don't know about supersuprakid, and I don't mean to hijack...but my car smokes a bit at idle about a minute after a cold start...
Once you start driving it, the smoke pretty much goes away, and on warm starts, you can still smell a little oil burning, but there isn't any coming from the exhaust.
These people are using methyl hydrate to remove the paint from the plastic lids of powerbooks, I think the JDM tails would be a bit tougher, and could handle ten minutes of soaking...

Maybe try soaking it in rubbing alcohol overnight or for a couple of days?
I know that people that modify powerbook's use that method to get the silver paint off of the inside of laptop cases.
The light wont pass through the paint at all? Maybe you can sand it down just enough for the LEDs...
High idle can be caused by MANY things...lol
If you do a search for "idling at 1k" you'll find my thread.
Check your codes, and check for boost leaks.
Idle speed for Turbo 7M is 650 RPM, and 700 for NAs.
Call Aaron at driftmotion, they can do ANY swap you want...you can talk to him about your options, and they are also VERY reasonably priced...They work exclusively on Supras, and IMO they do the best work in Socal.

Check the coupler from the 3000 pipe to the Throttle body...mine looked like this: (it was fine at idle, but boost would force it open, and start leaking, couldn't tell it was cracked unless you looked at it VERY closely.)
