You probably still have air in your system from the BHG repair... If there aren't any leaks in your cooling system, and everything is working the way it should, then the air should work its way out over time... A pressure test wouldn't be a bad idea... I would keep driving it if it isn't...

I'm not sure about the timing, but it's worth checking...and you should probaby get a boost controller so you don't hit fuel cut constantly.

Do you have a boost controller? Check your timing...
