CPS=Cam Position Sensor...it's located right behind the exhaust cam gear on the turbo side of the head. Wiggle the wiring to it a few times in a few places, and see if the car starts. Then report back. :) edit: Does the tach needle bounce slightly while cranking?

Well, if you continue to drive it, it will get worse quickly... And may cause more damage, leading to a more expensive repair bill...like you may have to get a new crankshaft as opposed to using your original one, if you drive the car with the knock.
