Haha, funny you should say that...at a local meet recently, everyone was wondering why I wasn't ordering alcohol...and when I told them I was 18, everyone was shocked...was quite funny...maybe they thought I was older because I'm 6'5"? LOL
I agree with IJ and justin...I really don't think age has anything to do with it...how you present yourself determines how others will treat you on here...
I signed up on SM just before my 17th birthday, and I've never felt alienated because of my age...Everyone was actually very helpful, and...
Inspect the sealing surfaces to make sure they aren't pitted or corroded...even if the RTV is a little on the wet side, it should still seal...unless you are using JUST RTV and no gasket...
LOL, the same as my Porsche. I guess I need to get rid of the 185/60/14's it has on it...:naughty: With a whopping 95hp...I could really use the extra traction. :sarcasm:
Interesting...how much did your 240Z weigh?
I'm assuming that they were thinking that a 50 on the rear would give the rear wheels more traction...even if only slightly more...LOL
Hmm...interesting...I always thought of the wider tires' primary purpose being to improve straightline traction. But I suppose it would also improve cornering ability as well...;)
I'm guessing width of the tires is proportional to the weight of the car?
I don't care what anyone says...that car is in amazing shape for it's age. $2k is quite reasonable (of course it wouldn't hurt to try and talk them down $500)...you can easily properly replace a head gasket for around $500 if you do it yourself.
