I once lost a deep well 8mm in a parts car trying to get to the one in the corner. It fell off, and down into the rear quarter somewhere. Before I had it hauled off, I cut out that quarter, but still couldn't find it.hehehehe
I was trying the JoelW method of the tip slip
Keep spinning.........that shaft is pretty long. But I guess if you have the others off, you should have figured that aout by now.
Also, try to get a hand or tool behind it (if already somewhat loose). Then apply pressure from the back side as you turn the wrench. They can also get hung on...
i couldn't see paying more than about $125-150 to have it professionally installed. Ya, you could save a few bucks, and attempt it yourself. It's pre-cut, so it's probably not to hard to get a decent install. Then you'd have a decent install (not professional) of a decent tint (not top shelf)...
I think a Mod list with price you paid, along with HP's, 1/4 times, dyno #'s would be cool. Then newbs looking to upgrade for the first time can see which mods he can do to get certain HP, and what it will cost him to do that. Maybe even a source column could let him know where to get it too...
I'm also from Alabama, and have 2 Supras. I've never had them both runing at the same time, but as soon as I can afford a Good clutch they will. The cars both look great. The white showed up good, and looks great. And for the blue, I just imagined the avatar while looking. I wish my paint looked...
Damn, I thought Holt was 1/4. If you need it, I'd meet you half way or something anytime. But, I'll probably check into Hattisburg then. I think it's 1/4, maybe not. I'd do Atmore for a good 1/8, it's only 35-40 miles from Satsuma
Jake,
I am 65% sure I'm gonna try to make a trip to Holt this Friday. I'd like somebody else from over here to come with me, but not absolutely necessary. If I make it over there, I have 2 heads sitting here collecting dust. I don't know a lot of history on either on, but I will bring both...
We have a guy like that around here. He drives a very clean, tottally unmolested Black pre 89 N/A. I always see him in his business attire with tie. You know the type......."missionary style only, all that other stuff is nasty". He seems like he is driving it, because for whatever reason, he...
DAMN IT! Adjuster, get out of my head. I was gonna write something very similar to this post, but didn't cause I thought I'd go on too long. My thoughts were almost to a "T" what you wrote, even the generation set up of MKIII, MKII, MKIV, MKI in that order, And yes I loved my MKII as well.
I'm helping to put together a Supra club in the Mobile, Al area. So far we have 3 MKIII's and 2 MKIV's. Both of the MKIV guys are great guys.....BUT.... I do get comments like...."We got to find you a 2jz to put in there". And most times I talk to them, it always starts with "How's your head...
Mike,
Will may have overstated it when he said Most MKIV owners, but this site was created for those of us who prefer the MKIII. Most of the people here are either former members , or decreased users of supraforums who were chased away because of the arogance of the MKIV masses. There is...
I'm an old guy, and was into Classic Mustangs when I was younger (yes, classic when I had it). I pronounce it MACH 3, like the Mach 1. I thought that was how it was meant to be said, and considered mark 3 to be coming from the uneducated car people to begin with. I hear MK3, mark3, and mach 3...
it'd be cool to have you livin in the south. And there's a 86.5 hardtop (I know, a little early for ya) body not too terribly far from there for sale. Brandon can tell you about that trip. It's his new build car's brother. Cold beer would always be available in south Alabama if you ever make a...
