As my computer 'learns' of the knock (i assume mine is like his), it actually makes it progressively worse and works its way up the RPM range......weird. I found simply resetting the ECU fixes it best. Lasts about 1/2hour or until you turn off your car.
i'm getting the same thing on my new motor, except it happens only at an idle. anywhere from 0-25Hz. I put in the octane booster and new feul and that seemed to help the problem somewhat. I don't know why im getting it either, i have NGK R plugs too.
ya know what, nvm, it just occured to me he was running 18psi on the ct-26. thats crazy IMO, but since he's not keeping it i guess...i thought he was doing 18psi on his new turbo. My 260RWHP/RWTQ is on 7~8PSI with a boost leak in my EGR, so i guess that would work out to much much higher on...
its not that its a huge deal, it just bothers me hes making almost 70RWHP and almost over 140RWTQ more than me...its not just 20HP or so its way way more....it makes me worry whats going wrong with my build?
I don't understand. i have mods that surpass yours (minus your turbo) and only made 260RWHP and 260RWTQ. Now i have a boost leak in my EGR believe it or not which drops it off to around 7.7 PSI at max power but still.....
I've been a little on edge is all...little things have been setting me off since i was trying to get back to school, my knock sensor was going off and knowing my grandpa is on his death bed right now isn't making things easier

It rattles, i took it apart and used a screw driver to tighten teh screw cause the contacts were lose...problem solved...thank god.

I think you'd be surprised just how alike they can be. Beside the obvious straight 6 vs V6 and turbo non turbo. THey use a lot of the same basic principals in all their engines
