I have a 6 puck 3200 lb pressure plate sprung stage 4 RPS clutch kit....its grabby all the time but i can ease into first/reverse w/o any throttle. It CAN be smooth but you have to be a perfect driver. Also you need a new slave cylander and throw out bearing to have it.
Well i have acceleration problems...it pulls damn hard and will take a stang anyday but acceleration is not smooth. I had a leaky EGR and just yesterday blocked it off. Still have the problem but not as bad. I have original coil packs from my '88 with 170K miles on them. I was leaning towards...

Having just done this a few times the easiest was is using a Deep 12mm (or 10mm i can't remember which) and a 3" extension. Its trick but you CAN get the deep socket and extension on the nuts for the side on...
Well i finallly fixed my EGR and just blocked it off. However what seems like subtle misfire, slight hesitation throughout the RPM band. Its on and off, basically no smooth flowing acceleration. Removing the EGR helped alot cause i lost 4PSI of boost through it but can't figure this one out...
For those wondering my turbo IS installed. And as the video shows it spins a good 7-8 seconds with 170K on it :aigo:

I have an extra ct-26 with 80K on it and it doesn't spin as freely...
