    Possible new performance parts!

I couldn't agree more. I hit brake fade at 40 MPH when trying to slow down from 80. I turned the corner of an intersection at 35 because of that. Luckily the car hugged the road. Adam

maintenance on average in a year

Dude, you're preaching to the choir. My electrical is always fucked up. I'm always working on replacing little stuff that's broken. You should see my stack of invoices from Champion Toyota. But 1 part at a time, my car is becoming more and more perfect. Adam

    I Hate Auto Registration Offices

Idiots:biglaugh: . Just do what I did and register my car at my dad's place in Oregon (no emission testing, no sales tax in the entire state). The only thing I have to do now is get a VIN inspection done and send the paperwork and some money to my dad so he can transfer the plates from my 90...

Strut bar for 89+ with tems???

Lots of people have them, but you have to make sure you get the strut bar that fits over the TEMS. The only downside is that you have to remove the caps over TEMS. Adam

    Driving in california

    $$$$$

Bro, you really need to get a F***ing clue. You're car is pretty much bone stock. See what happens when you put on a big single or go 1J. You'll stomp a lot of cars on the road. With my 1J (which at the time only had a cold air intake and 2.5" stock DP with 3" catless exhaust), for example...

    mike urbano?

Mike U. was the first to put a 1JZ into an MKIII in the U.S. He got the first 1JZ-GTE to touch U.S. soil. He did amazing work to Supras. In fact, some of his work, including his personal 1JZ-GTE MKIII, is still floating around here in SoCal. As for his tragic death, he was sitting at a...

    Quick question about driveshaft harmonics...

Stock 2-piece weight is about 28 pounds. 1-piece steel driveshafts are like 18-19. Adam

    Quick question about driveshaft harmonics...

1-piece steel driveshafts are stronger, but of course weigh more. More rotating mass weight = slower throttle response. When I start putting more power down, I'll have to upgrade to a 1-piece steel driveshaft. Adam
