    i don't think it got hot enough either. All of my injectors freely rotate still which means the o-rings and insulators didn't melt. Though a couple injector clips are melted. Alot of my sensors below the intake plenum are still in tact as well; can't say the same for the TPS though lol....long gone

    just making sure you're at least 18. This is a college town. WVU consumes over 1% of the nations alcohol :biglaugh:. And if you were to come out well then maybe it could be closer to 2% after working on the cars :sarcasm:.

    Well, if im going to save this engine, i need to get rid of the 'smoked' look. Im not sure what to soak the metal components in, ie TB, valve covers, intake etc. Would mineral spirits be enough? or something else?

    hmmm, that actually doesn't even look familiar to me. I'd go check for you but all my connectors were melted since the fire. Are the pins clean? as in does it look like its even been used? or is it just covered all in grease inside?
