HELP!!! I need to test my ignitor on my 1J, as well as my ECU. If any 1J guys in the area could bring their 1J powered machine with a non-standalone ECU (IE stock or stockish ECU) to my place in SE Portland, I would gladly pay gas and food. I'm not 100%, but I think I just fried my ECU. Call...
I 2nd what Randy said. I am running his Pre-89 motor mount adaptors and Pre-89 solid motor mounts. Very good products, very easy to install, and the motor doesn't move (which is good because it increases the efficiency of getting the power to the wheels). Here's a pic of my BIC setup on my 1J...
The Supra is back together, but the battery had to be temporarily be relocated back to the front until I get a kill switch and fix my grounding issue. I am now having a starting issue (see other motors section). I pulled the ECU tonight and inspected it but didn't find anything wrong...
The fuel pump is less than a year old. Hmmm
Ninja edit: I just did the fuel pump bypass as described by ^^^ and fired the car right up. It ran fine for about 5 seconds and then died and wouldn't start again.
The fuel pump is running (Walbro 255 LPH), the Aeromotive FPR is reading normal, and I even cracked the fuel line right before it goes to the motor and did a quick blip of the starter and ended up spraying fuel everywhere. Anything I missed?
I checked fuel pressure, spark, fuses, power, and grounding. I'm a little curious about a couple vacuum lines that go to nothing. The Supra will try to start but fail. Even if it does start it will only run for a few seconds (motor can be revved up), and then dies promptly. Here's pics...
Who said anything about going out to Sedro-Wooley? That's where my girlfriend lives. I'm down in Portland. I was thinking about Mt. Rainier National Park. I did a map search on Mt. Rainier National Park and it's about half-way for both of us. Now the question is, what's there to do around...
I'm looking for a good campground where me and my gf can camp at late next week. It must be about half-way between Portland and Sedro-Wooley. Any suggestions? Maybe the Dalles campground??? The last time I went camping in the NW was 10 years ago, so I am lost completely about places in the...
I shouldn't have to modify anything since this guage/controller was already installed on my old set of stock twins (I am finishing up replacing the stock twins with a better pair).
Adam
Ok, my Supra is almost 100% back together but I'm not sure where my vaccuum lines go for my boost guage/controller. What's wrong with these pictures?:1zhelp:
