    On a 1J, isn't having a Fuel Cut Defencer and Speed Cut Defencer redundant or am I wrong? If it's redundant I'll sell one and install the other. If they both serve a purpose I'm installing both. Thanks guys.

    Project Clean 87

    I reset the car by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 30 seconds and filled the car back up with Premium (since it had a little regular 87 in it), problem solved. Also, I just got a killer deal on a FCD and SCD, those will be shipped out to me on Monday :D. Next step is to get it...

    Just got my ECU and plugged it in, the Supra is ALIVE!!! Although now the throttle is lobing a little (about 200 RPM's) for about the first 30 seconds.

    Just got my ECU and plugged it in, the Supra is ALIVE!!! Had to disconnect the battery for 30 seconds and fill the tank back up with Premium (it had a little bit of regular in it) and my loping problem got solved. Next step is to get it retuned. Adam

    Problem solved. I got an ECU overnighted to me from Pennsylvania via a SF member (and soon to be SM member). Turns out the ECU was the issue. Adam

    I have a replacement 1J ECU being overnighted to me from Pennsylvania. Should be here by noon tomorrow. If that doesn't work I'm going under the motor to start looking at connections.

    Bad Circuit-open Relay Symptoms

    On my last fill-up I got just over 35 MPG, but that's with a bad brake rotor (very warped to the point that you can hear it while not braking) and possibly a fucked up axle, as well as 10 PSI too low of air pressure in all 4 tires. The dragster is a Super Comp class dragster, not mine though...

    Both me and Special are having a problem. Mine will try and crank and will reach about 500 RPM's while cranking, and almost fire (sounds like one or two of the cylinders is starting to fire), but then no fire. If it does fire up, it'll fire up just fine and run perfectly for a couple seconds...

    I've done the bypass so that I've manually turned on the fuel pump my jumping it at the diagnostic port and the car still has the same issue.
