9k rpm's or in general hi revs can be very effective with a turbo, the key is the turbo has to be set up "loose" so it doesn't spool too early.
"streetable" that's a whole other question. IMHO it aint gonna be much fun in city traffic. A properly set-up turbo bottom end should be low...
That made my day! No problem, I'm here for ya...
As far as the way your ride looks I think someday (soon) you'll have one of the baddest Supras on this forum... I can tell by your attitude...you've got the determination and the follow through, you've certainly proven that!
9K is alot of revs. Especially for a 7m. Everything has to be just right or kaploooeeey!!!
With all due respect you should build some engines and get some serious working knowledge before you even think about 9000 rpm's.
If you have this many questions on what it's gonna take to do the do...

What can I say...it's a gift... congrats!
BY THE WAY, THE PROBLEM WITH YOUR ELECTRICAL IS THE BATTERY HAS AN INTERNAL DEAD SHORT.
:icon_razz
Meticulously balanced and couterweighted steel billet crank, titanium rods and wrist pins. If thats done right (IMHO) probably wouldn't have to de-stroke.
But for really high revs I think you would have to incorporate a valve train that in addition to being more stiffly sprung , lighter...
Here's the deal;
Spray the sawblades with paint remover in the gold and white aerosol can (I for get the brand name). A trick to make the remover work better is to cover the wheels up with tin foil while the remover is working, it makes a big difference.
What blew my mind is when you hose...
Exactly...
...not to mention that any effect it does have will be totally negated when the turbo gets ahold of the airflow and has its way.
But, this device may actually have some value on a carburated vehicle. On a fuel injected and/or turbocharged engine it's snake oil. :nono:
I am waiting for it to quit raining over there so you can run an exterior (test) fuel line like I suggested.
After having re-read this thread (in it's entirety) I think it's your most obvious course of action. It may or may not solve the problem but it seems like the most logical place to...
Before I did that I'd have a look at my TPS readings with a multimeter per TSRM
and make sure everything was correct there. My experience is that with an idle problem 9 times out of 10 its TPS.
I used to mangage a maaco in so cal and your right if the car is prepped right (best you do it) and you slip the painter a hundred you'll get a decent job.
However, remember maaco is what's called a "production paint shop". What that means essentially is-get them in & get them out. Not to...
Can sawblades be polished up beyond there already shiny (once you strip the paint) surface?
I've seen some that looked like chrome and I was wondering if they were just polished.
Got mine from an old lady who had it since new!
(MINT! 70k mi) and was garaged for the last 7 years. Only went out of the garage for those years to go to the dealer for this, that and the other thing. Guess what I paid? $0.00
Did I mention the old lady was my mom.
(I'm going to get some...
I'm curious as to why you went (presumably, since I see your distributor) with 7mge electronics (ecu etc.)?
Do you anticipate a problem now that you are running 440's?
Have you given any thought to running an aftermarket piggy-back ignition coil and module?
Seems to me you would...
I'm not an expert on lighting for sure but it doesn't seem that much lower or do you mean because of the recessed location? If it's the latter couldn't you build some kind of clear cover that extends to the edge of the bumper??
