That's about right. If it were cosmetically a little nicer it might bring quite a bit more (not that it's bad).
On an older car like a mkiii, nice paint and an immaculate interior play a large part on it's desireability and therefore it's value.,
I don't know how many of you have noticed...
Don't you think since this is a thread on this subject exclusively, it might have been a good idea to post it upfront?
But thanks for the guidance. You're the best!
I agree, but I'm not so sure it's what I'd call "upgrading" the look of the car.
It's different, I'll give it that!
But to be completely honest, I think the Supra front end is waaaay sexier. In fact, I'd have to say that the swoopy front half of the car is what I like best about the look...
ring ring...hello...yeah this is reality calling, it's 2007...and gas costs 3 bucks a gallon and you can't buy a nice Supra anymore for $3K...just thought you should know
Don't listen to these guys!
I am from Socal too, and your car (as described )is worth alot more than that in L.A.
I...
Maybe you should have your brain reground.
This is what I'm talking about!
Where can you buy a "good Supra" for "a couple of thousand bucks"???
That's ridiculous!
I'd say this statements credibility is commensurate with the authors ability to spell.
:nono:
That's the thing, a new rollerskate with 4 doors and an am radio will run ya almost $20k. And we're not talking Supra by any means.
With that in mind (and if you're the kind of person who isn't easily discouraged) why not spend $30k on your Supra?
Compare it to what you could buy new for...
With all due respect, that guy's got obviously got a ton of dough into this car.
I would venture to say that it's worth every dime of the $13,500 he's asking.
I don't know where some of you guys get your ideas on what's worth what, but it's kinda disheartning to hear supramania members...
....bummer...that's what I was afraid of.
I need to add a "push on-push off" switch for the overdrive lockout and another monentary switch for nitrious.
I already run this set up but with coiled wire that wraps around the steering column when I turn the wheel, but I'd like to eliminate...
This is fucking retarded (or I am)!
Are you're saying that your wheels are flush (ie...even) with the sides of the car body?
It's hard for someone to understand from the pictures and the description is kinda vague. Sorry if I'm a little Forrest Gump on this one.
What's the idea? Does...
Forgive me for bumping my own thread, but I've been staring at my steering coulmn with the wheel off for the last 3 hours and coming up snake eyes.
I know it's a pretty obscure subject, but I'm hoping someone out there might have some experience on this subject.

Check the connection on your AFM. It sounds like it probably came loose or maybe (hopefully not) your AFM took a shit.
That's the exact same symptoms my supra made when mine went out, but I've also seen the connector come loose and do the same thing.
I would be very surprised if the damage was limited to those components. Maybe you'll get lucky, I'd probably want to look at the input shaft (the one that slides into your clutch and pressure plate) it might be damaged and or the bearing at the back of it.
Yeah, it's hard to really know what is going to be to radical for the street. On one hand I'd like it to turn with less imput, but on the other hand I don't want to change 3 lanes if I sneeze.
I've done many head gaskets and re-torque's, and I always bring em up gradually and in sequence to 82lbs w/ stock bolts (engine dead cold of course). If it's a rebuild or a new head gasket, I re-torque them after about 5or 6 heat cycles, never had a bolt failure.
I'm not saying that you...
Might want to consider replacing the trans, clutch, flywheel, the whole shabang. I'm pretty certain if the bh cracked and the fw came off there's probably a whole bunch of damage you won't see untill you pull the trans.
good luck.
