It's really not hard! I've never had any trouble pulling one. Now if you want to pull the rear speaker pods that they drop into, you will have to remove the hatch panels. But just changing speakers, you don't need to do that.
As touched on before, with the way our systems are set up, you...
Jim, I know I had you listed as a friend before. It must have erased them all and changed to a new system of people having to be approved before they can be your friend. I'll have to go check my profile and see if all of my friends are gone. I may have to send requests to them all again.
That's the hose I was referring to. If not coming from there, I would suspect either the housing gasket, or the studs that it hangs on as JetJock suggested.
Another thought.....The coolant return line from the turbo is also above that area. Check to be sure it is not leaking there as well.
That was a hella long weekend trip from Alabama. I'm gonna try to experience a Texas before coming back up there again. I will return, but probably not this year. Texas is my logical yearly, but I will make appearances at Chicago with car, and Vegas without car occasionally.
The HDR thread on SF is awesome. Glad to see it here, as I like the opinions of those here better on just about everything. That picture appears to be a finished product. Show us what you started with!
WOW! This is the first time I have seen this thread. Ironically I'm wearing my SP shirt right now from last year. I doubt I'm making the 15 hour each way drive again, but this thread has encouraged several flashbacks of the great event. How bout postic pics of me and you flying the Supramania...
I love the MKII.......the black on it........the fact it is not full of rust like most MKII's......the very knowlegable and helpful owner......and the overall care of the vehicle. The car looks great, and I would love to own it myself. Sorry if my first post made me look like a stalker ( I'm...
Sorry Justin, I have to go against my own rules of Red or Grey this time. Tanya is Soooooo sexy........I mean Tanya's car is really nice! As far as I know, you haven't even entered yet, just thinking about it. And I doubt you can impress me with pictures near as good as Tanya has lately.
Take the tranny out and mate them up before installing the motor if you are that worried about it. How much help do you have? I usually do it by myself, and I have to try 2-3 times to get them lined up right out of the car. I couldn't imagine trying to do that in the car. But if you have help...
It's technically tomorrow now!
Why not use a stock set of springs, and run 4 rear struts on the car for a lowered front appearance without compromising driveability? That is a cheap way out.
I sure wish I could afford paint and tuning. Until then i will continue to cast my worthless support towards my favorite Red or Grey car that is entered. So far Jayson has done a great job with choosing the right car without my help though.
So you're a cattle farmer?????????:evil2:
I just drove through your area Sunday. It would have been cool if you had eaten at the Cracker Barrel at about 6:30
