I ended up replacing all my trim (expensive) even though the only problem was it had lost its shine and clarity over the years.
I was told there is no way to polish it up when it gets dull or scratched, but it just seems like they're ought to be a way to polish it.
My factory alarm has just recently started to give false alarms.
When I go outside to turn the key in the lock, it shuts off the alarm and then resets just like it's supposed to, but every hour to 12 hours I hear the alarm going off.
I looked at the TSRM trouble shoot for the theft...
I was thumbing through my copy of Moddified Magazine and saw a 350Z w/ some pretty cool looking C/F mirrors.
They were smallish, pearched on a thin mount, like old sports car mirrors.
They're AutoTechnic "Craftsquare" style carbon mirrors.
Probably not cheap.
Agreed, it sounds outrageous.
Not many shops can come close to duplicating a job that equals factory paint. It requires a ton of work, even if the body is in excellent shape.
The materials required to achieve a "factory painted" look are also very costly.
I'm not saying you have to...
A high quality paint job with 3 stage PPG (or the equivalent), no bodywork other than block sanding and basic metal prep for paint from a good quality bodyshop = $10K
571 bhp isn't that much???
Assuming that it's not imaginary hp, that is serous hp out of a 7mgte.
C'mon give the guy his props.
I'm sure their goal with the exhaust was minimum bends, not asthetics.
That's a cool approach to the lack of adequate fuel supply once your car starts making any power.
It occurred to me that if your goal is 500hp or less, you could do the same mod with the stock pump and just add the inline pump as well as the fuel rail modification, and it would probably...
Most definitely...
As I said I was "simplifying" the explanation and only addressing swaybars and whether it was possible to have too stiff of a swaybar.
I'm not going to be able to explain the geometry of double wishbone suspension and it's characteristics when affected by all the...
Our cars have double wishbone suspension...which means:
A certain amount of body roll is necessary on our cars to facilitate proper camber, and an optimum (read that larger) contact patch (area) between the tire and the road. This results in more grip and better (read that faster) steering in...
I'm just now really looking at the pictures but, I don't see anything wrong with it.
Looks like a brand new car.
$10k??? Ridiculous. (even though it doesn't have tems:icon_bigg)
+1.
Figgie's right on the money.
If you have any doubt about his statement, all that you have to do is visit a RM or Branson collector car Auction.
Original is always the most desireable.
The car might be worth the money to the right guy.
If you owned it, and were selling...
You just did.
They don't do shit. At least nothing you could ever notice.
It's pretty much an ornament. (I have one...not TRD)
But I must say, that modified TRD bar looks the shizz!:bling:
If we could get 75 of us to donate $20 apiece, we could have a SM member who lives in that area buy the "car", and then...
CRUSH IT!
I think it's the right thing to do.
No offense but...this may be the worst advise I've ever read.
It'll be louder alright, in the worst resonance frequency possible.
What I like to call... The Migraine Zone.:3d_frown:
