The more heat you introduce into your motor, the higher the octane you need... To prevent detonation... The more boost you push, the hotter the intake charge will be...
However, if you can cool your intake charge, you can run higher boost... Alot of these...
So is my hot side too big for my cold side Dan? I'll look into PTE... I basically want something that will spool fast, hold boost to red line and give me the most hp at the least amount of boost...
Well, if you have something to cool the intake charge, like an INTER-cooler meth injection or water injection, you can increase boost levels dramatically, on pump gas...
Just a thought...
