I just ran the numbers again on my phone gear ratio calculator (god i love android phones)
4.30 rear end
.78 5th gear
225/55/16 tires
137 is 6000 rpm according to this calculator.
If i were doing a turbo swap I would pull the engine and likely just say fuck it. Lets do them now while the car is off the road.
I am tired of hearing the cams pound away at the shims until oil gets to them though.. and the puff of blue smoke every cold start. Blah.
If you plan on going with a high flow pump you may as well block it off now. 15 bucks now and 20 bucks later for the block off plate or 20 bucks now.
Hell, you could make your own block off plate..
7,162k miles is a lot. Not to thread jack or anything, but how hard would stem seals+shims be with the motor in the car? Im still not sure if i want to to a turbo swap, so this may be irrelevant.
And i think you're looking for 7,162 miles.
The fact that i do have the "magical N/A" which somehow manages to get 20+ mpg, flogging it the entire tank, and do 125 with the A/C on, and 135 with it off. Closed course of course.
My flame suit is on, but I did hit 6000ish rpm in 5th with stock GE gearing.. And if you run the gear ratios...
While ive never had my car mistaken for another make/model, I have had other cars mistaken for my car..
3rd gen camaro, countless ford probes, even an oldsmobile..
I know, the dreaded question that no one actually cares about (but deep down everyone does. Atleast a little, right?)
What is the gas mileage difference between regular gas and E-85?
For answering your question, I dunno. You need to give more info than that.
N/A- Yes, it will work fine
Turbo-Maybe. Im not sure if gear sets differ from early 89 to late 89. Pre 89 was 3.9 and post 89 was 3.7.
As long as its for the right transmission and gear set, no it wont screw up your...
I currently have Alpine type S speakers in the rear pods. 5x7. It took a lot of grinding and I wouldn't go any bigger (cant) or much deeper than those..
So I did a fair bit of searching, but couldn't find anything on this subject. Just a quick question. Which line does the driftmotion 7m power steering line replace?

Stick with what motor you have.
A) You don't have the JDM motor mystery
and B) You will likely find the source of the problem when you tear down your current engine.
