Am I the only guy with a Supra with over 220k miles and I haven't had to repair anything yet? Well, except valve cover gaskets.

I have an 8 inch slim sub underneath the seat. Very simple and really adds to the sound. Im not a bass junkie i just like balanced sound. On a few songs (No hands comes to mind..) it can NOT hit the bass notes, but for everything I usually listen to its perfect. I have it grounded to the seat...
The only time i ever get wheel hop is in the wet. Only when the tires start to spin, once they are spinning though, smooth as butter. Stock everything except I have B&G springs and Tokico blues
I believe that the valvetrain design on 7Ms can replicate rod knock like sounds. My car has nearly the exact same issue. Theres a heavy knock when i first start it after it sitting for a day or so, and then it quiets down after oil gets circulated. Its been like this since ive gotten the car...
If you're going to rebuild it, have them tap the oil drain on the block and oil feed as well. Could also tap the second knock sensor if you wanted to.
You're going to need a 7m-GTE harness and ECU and AFM and igniter and possibly a few other goodies.
Wow, That car has been on sale a long time. I remember seeing it when I went on my Seattle trip in June. It's super super nice though.. Still not worth 14k, however.
True. I just about wrecked the Supra. Some guy in a Honda Civic tried to pull out in front of me.. as I'm turning left in front of him. Lets just say hes lucky my car can handle, because theres a reason I put a 4-way in my car...
