Not only does it look cool going around a track with the top off, Im sure the cage you are putting in will more than make up for the chassis flex.
I dont see any pros to welding it shut, lol.
Im seriously starting to think this thing has turbo cams or something like that. Ill have to measure them when I rebuild the head and put a turbo on. Lol
But Im in nebraska.. I really dunno what elevation it is, but its not high and its not sea level.
I found out that mine sucks at locking...
My tokicos + B&G spring combo never had this problem. Had to compress the spring to get the shock all mounted up.
Neither did stock, on either of my Supras
Its not. Trust me. I check my oil and coolant levels damn near every day. It only burns a little oil on start up due to bad valve stem seals. The car has never over heated, (under my ownership atleast) never spewed coolant, and has never shown signs of a BHG. Not even down on power (clearly...

The sound is a little off in the last two videos, but you can use your imagination..
Both of the diffs I have had in my mk3 make some hum at 75.
4.3 open (218k miles on it) My brother couldn't hear it, but he doesn't notice the little things..
3.9 LSD (130k miles) little bit less of a hum.
I agree with IJ. But what about the engine compartment? That would have to be from the front of the car looking back.
No one says the exhaust is on the right side of the motor.
Im just saying, its easier to turn the motor over with the car in 5th than in 1st. Try doing what I said. With the engine off, 5th gear on a slight hill the car will roll. Turning the engine over. Granted, very slowly, but it will turn the engine
1st gear wont roll, and the engine obviously...
Put it in 1st! 5th is way easier to move than 1st.
Next time you're on a steep hill, pull over and put the car in 5th (engine off obviously) and see if it will roll. I bet it will. Then try 1st and i bet it will hold the car.
Wouldn't a better test (in his case) be a leak-down of the cooling system? Pressure is always going to bleed from the cylinders. It should never bleed from the cooling system, unless something is wrong.
No, thats just testing the coolant for combustion gasses.
A leak down is pressurizing the cooling system (with a gauge of course) and watching to see if the gauge goes down at all. It shouldn't
Or pressurizing the combustion chambers and watching to see how much the gauge goes down (it will...
