so? FCO is APPROXIMATELY around 12 psi....less in some cars, more in others. 10 psi is close enough.....if you really want to eek out the last few psi, check for boost leaks.
you hit FCO on the shift due to a boost spike, it depends on the type of MBC you're using.
no problems doing a more lean cruise.....though you'll never get to 20:1 on the 7M. you'll need a combustion chamber specifically designed for it + direct injection + other junk. a lot of MKIV guys w/the AEM run 17:1 or so (as already stated).
