An R154 would do fine for 500rwhp, but if you picked a V160 up that cheap I'd use it too. I don't see why you couldn't use an MkIV rear end, but I don't know for sure.

If you read the install on supras.nl (I think, been a LOOONG time since I read it) the install wasn't all that complicated.
