If you're under 600hp.....
Have the stock rods resized, x rayed, and stress relieved.
Use ARP hardware in all parts of the engine.
Go with +1mm Ferrea valve train parts.
Stock cams will do.
Adjustable cam gears are nice if you have a dyno.
JE pistons are my choice.
Remove the black upper gauge plastic with the philips plastic screws.
Then remove the screws that hold the gauge cluster in.
Its pretty self explanitory once you get in there....
On saturday night (8-12) and sunday morning Noah89T, Forcedtorque, Buckshotglass & I get back from Dave & Busters.
We start shooting the sheeeet about 1.30am. I decide to start cleaning my windows and just random crap to the car for the next day's car show.

There was only one mkIII that sent it down the 1/4 mile. The Sound Performance MK4 wend 8.9 @ 130+ shutting down @ the 1/8 mile due to the track being sh!t.
Also, the maroon mk3 (nathans) was stock, with the exception of a down pipe and no exhaust. :-)
Figgie:
The indy cars never ran tolulene.
The F1 cars did. They were 80-90 tolulene, and 10-20% "filler".
They did this because they were running 40-60psi+ of boost, and making over 1400hp off 3 litres for an entire race.
