If it's higher up, I'd suggest it could be power steering fluid. There is an o-ring that seals the suction fitting to the pump (hose from the reservoir goes to it). It is common for this to leak.
I'd suggest cleaning the engine off, and trying to find where the leak is.

You need the late 89 mounts on the late 89 brackets.
Everything should match the crossmember that is in the car you are trying to put the motor into. Nothing should be mix/matched.

Charge is started on the rising edge of the signal wave, spark is triggered on the falling edge. The time between those two is the dwell.
The igniter can handle much more power than the ECU can.

89621-33020 is the 6-channel igniter used in the 94-95 Camry/ES300.
89621-35011 is a 3-channel igniter used in the 96 Camry/ES300 (and others).
Another choice is the actual 1JZ/2JZ 6-channel igniter, which was also used on the 95 Avalon, it has 2 connectors instead of just 1 like the Camry...
Also make sure you get one from a Camry with 6 coils. Toyota went to 6-coils and then later to 3 coils wasted spark, so get one from a sequential ignition setup. It's basically the same as the 2JZ igniter with a different connector.

The reason the 2JZ coils work well is because they are quite short.
Not saying these won't work, just that mounting and getting wires for them seems like it'd be more hassle than getting coils designed for a 6-cylinder that are already shorter.
But, post resulting pictures if you do go for...
It happens on my 2009 Corolla (which even has a cabin air filter). It can even be from the type of glass cleaner used. Often times it will leave a tiny bit of residue on the glass, and the dust from your vents slowly sticks to it. If the cleaner is not wiped off extremely well.
On the other...
Jdub was referring to the fact that the 7M-GTE forum is for posting threads related to 7M-GTE specific topics. The A/C in the car is not a GTE specific topic and therefore does not belong in the forum you posted in.
As far as conversions. Toyota offers all the parts to do a conversion, but if...
The port on the side is the coolant feed for one of the stock turbos. If you aren't running a water cooled turbo, or you have it fed from another spot, it should be blocked off.
There is nothing special about the 2JZ water pump being used on the 1JZ. In fact the 1JZ-GTE in the Soarer uses the...
Toyota sells shims in 0.05mm (Approximately 0.002in) increments.
Even if you aren't replacing the cams, and just putting the original ones back in, check and adjust the valve clearance. There is a reason you are supposed to check and adjust it periodically.
