Lol, I watched this too.
I always thought you would loose efficiency if you painted an intercooler. Good to know you can black it out, have the sleeper look, and it doesn't hinder performance.
My odometer rolled over 150,000km today (93,000miles for all you across the border).
I bought the car two years ago and have put on 25000km in that time. Almost feels like a shame racking up the miles, but that won't stop me from driving and enjoying it.

'Smart coils' have the igniter built in, like the 1ZZ coils while 'dumb coils' do not.

That castrol stuff you used is made for lsd's so it will likely already have the friction modifier in it so adding the ford stuff (or anyother) isn't going to help. I'm guessing the issue is that you used the wrong weight of oil.
Close, but you'll want to use 75W-90. I'd try the ford oil and additive like suggested in the link. Seems it has had the best results.
I've got to do the same soon. Mine will only spin one wheel.
Replace the diff fluid. It is a clutch type LSD you'll need to add a friction modifier or it will lockup.
Everyone seems to use ford diff additive. Add a little and test it, repeat until you can make tight turns without it locking up but not so much that it spins one wheel durning a launch...
