Automotive wise, grenade doesnt mean to explode like a handgrenade. There isnt enough cylinder pressure to break apart the cast iron block. Grenade is just a term for ruining the engine past the point of being able to rebuild. And yes, it wont last long.
But what do I know, I have only had to...
You cant. Well, you could put it out as far as you want until it hits the next cylinder, but he will grenade the engine. The factory only sells .5mm over for a reason. 1mm can be done with precautions.
Get a new headgasket.
What do you mean you need to run low to mid 30's?
So plug the 3000 pipe and drill a very small hole in the center of the plug. And you have your 30 psi, wastegate modifications needed of course.
The factory computer can not interperate the signal from the tubo air flow meter, which is a Karman Vortex meter. It sends a frequency varied signal to the computer. The 7MGE airflow meter is a Vane Airflow meter. As the chronic smoker pointed out, you can adjust the GE airflow meter. You have...
Well, this car went away in about August of 2003. It was hit while parked by some young dumb girl that thought it was necessary to answer her cell phone that was ringing on the floor of her car. It was my 3rd overall. My current is a GTE, but that isnt what makes it a Supra to me. It is the only...

While I have seen the ACIS VSV go bad, the default position allows for high rpm torque, not low. I suppose it is possible the VSV is stuck in the applied position. I could create your driveability problem. Over advanced timing will, igntion or cam. You did move anything with the...
In a 7MGE, the cam position sensor is a part of the distributor. Otherwise, the ECU would not know when to fire the injectors and ignitor. The injectors are not sequential, but fired in twos in order.
Anytime you step on the throttle, short and long term fuel trim are written. Short term is just that, what you are doing right now. Long term doesnt just go away by pulling the EFI fuse.
If your car is sluggish above 3000 rpm, check to see if is boost related. Not overboost fuel cut from a...
Your problems sound like trouble in the coolant temp circuit. As the car warms, the resistance in the sensor goes down, the opposite of nature. It was designed that way. Anyway, low resitance in the sensor retruns most of the 5 volt refrence signal the computer sent. I would check the connector...
Not the quickest wasnt the intention of Toyota, but hell they over did it. I really like the JZA80 wheels. Johny Dangerously put some on his ride too. It is the only wheel I would put on in place of the factory 5 star. Yes your car looks good, but 91 and 92 are two best to me.
That being...
The charcoal canister system weighs almost nothing and puts fuel vapors that dont make their into the combustion chamber, back to the tank. If you arent racing, no real reason to do it.
You think they over did it when they decided on 58 lb/ft of torque for the head bolts?:biglaugh: (what would the internet be without a wiseass)
I know they over do things, I agree. But a rev limit after the advertised redline is probably there for a reason.
Somebody with a 5 speed put your...
