Before the throttle plate is called ported vaccum. But you dont have any until the plate is opened. Or very little anyway. If you have a throttle body with a plate, you have vaccum. Or more accurately, lower pressure.
I dont understand the question I guess. Becuase as soon as you close the throttle, your manifold goes into vaccum. Perhaps they have supercharger system of some sort, and are still using the terminology of a turbine?
A Diesel without the throttle plate is never in vaccum, and 855 CID spools...
In theory, the valve wont seal. But you arent way outside the boundries either. When the valve heats up, it will expand. Just like everything. The lash is there to take up that expansion. When you are too loose, besides being noisy, the valve wont open as far as it is supposed to.
14 means the ignitor did not respond to the ECU request for igntion. As indicatded on todays posts in this section, and the TSRM. Your ignitor could have been dying, and now dead, but usually they dont missfire in my experience, they just quit working. And a 51 and 14 indicate everything is not...
JJ's explination is dead nuts accurate, but I like to keep them simple. IGT is ignition trigger, IGF is ignition fired, letting the ECU know the requested ignition event happened.
If your car runs, pull the EFI fuse for 30 seconds and reinstall. Does your car run?
Well, I will say they dont all look like that. The caps are align honed at the factory for the cams. Be careful, thoughtful, and double check clearances.
Of course if you are getting new aftermarkets, then having scoring like that wont matter to the cam anymore.
I was just making an assumption that turned out to be correct. The assumption was he was being a bit of smart ass since people dont understand plain english, try a foreign language. Or something like that.:biglaugh:
Dont feel bad. Look at how many times it has been rehashed on the internet.
While I dont have a repair manual in front of me, I can tell you the rating is as they say, lower. It is something like 60-80 cc per 15 seconds. So they could be as low as 240cc injectors. I dont even remember what...
I like to read new car news also. I just don't think the youth on this board should take things like Super Street as gospel. Just the same as Hot Rod for the domestics.
Anyway, a great deal of barbers always have womens mags.:rant2:
A miss under load is usually electrical, specifically ignition. The spark should be bright white/blue. A yellowish tint is a weak coil. But plugs and wires should be checked first.
