Is there a way to change rev limiter?

I don't see how it is flawed logic to trust those that designed the car regarding where to set a redline. Anybody that remembers a mechanical fuel governor has seen a different approach. It limits the total fuel. This doesnt cut the fuel, it is just all the fuel your engine will recieve. That...

    Baseline dyno results

Well the difference specifically isnt anything special. OBDII isnt a requirement to run a certain way, but closer monitoring and cleaner emissions. The EPA doesnt care how you get there. The open loop critieria with the older cars is cold operation or WOT throttle.

    E-85 in a supra?

And demand is the biggest variable in figuring supply. is the farmers in Ohio where you live and other places that think we should buy their product. The alcohol needs more heat and pressure to light. If you can use regular gasoline it is probably better for you to not switch.

Is there a way to change rev limiter?

You mean besides the redline the engineers built into the car that spent thousands of man hours devoloping the car?

    How does a Turbo work?

The compressor side of the turbocharger "compresses" air differently than a piston air compressor. The shape of the blades stack air inside the housing as the wheel whips around.

Tell me why it won't spark!

Before you going buying an ECU for a fuse that blows, make sure you understand why a fuse blows. The current in the circuit is higher than the fuse rating. This is to protect the device in the circuit, which draws less than the fuse. If you blow the IGN fuse, you have a direct ground...

Where can I find spring band clamps?

There are two kinds. The good ones like Toyota uses, and the junk that you need special pliars to pinch. A pair of long needle nose get the job done with ease on the stock clamps. Those are the ones I prefer.

Do mechanics, car audio installers, etc, like working on your car?

Actually, for many things, it is much easier. You can pull a 7M, of either variety, and have it on the stand, in under 2 hours. Try that with a 1MZFE. Or any front driver. It also depends on where you live. Growing up in Ohio, there werent many Toytotas, let alone a Supra. But living in...

Do mechanics, car audio installers, etc, like working on your car?

I dont agree becuase that isnt true. The pricing is standardized everywhere. At Toyota there is a book called T-TIPS. That is Toyota Total information pricing system. And the franchise is expected to follow it. But I can tell you the mom and pop dealer whose main business is GM might not follow...

It idles ok when cold? And the problem starts when warm/hot/operating temps? Do you have any extra smoke that is black or dark?

    PSI vs AIRFLOW

Oh yeah, the turbocharger compresses the air. Hence, the compressor part of the unit. And the Toyota unit being much smaller is much higher reistance to flow, and the pressure (resitance to flow) goes up significantly trying to push more air than it is capable of. And your big ass T66 doesnt...

    PSI vs AIRFLOW

PSI is pounds per square inch, which is a measurement of resistance in an enclosed system. Pressure is resistance to flow, not flow. Although in common lay terms it is often used to describe push. The T66 puts out much more air at 9 psi becuase it is a much bigger pump. Boyles law states that...

    No spark.....

In general, that is not a valid test. You should check for voltage drop. Take a wire made of many strands. If all are broke but one, you will have continuity on the ohm meter, and beep if it has sound mode. But you will have massive voltage drop, and the circuit will not work correctly, whatever...
