There is no "adjustment" on an electrical connector. The bad connection is probably you reason for an intermitent no start.
Have a pic of the screw you are talking about?
Water jackets are standard issue on just about everything. The newer stuff, even the Celica 2ZZFE is designed different, more for squeezing everything out of the car they can.
Super high horsepower wasn't the design, therefore, it isn't a flaw that it doesn't produce. Make sense?
No...
That doesn't exactly narrow it down, but it is true. Old age plus heat equals high resistance, that is correct.
So the FPU vaccum switching valve might not be working when hot. And the fuel system is vapor locking. I have also seen ingnitors quit working when hot.
You can check to see that...
Definetly looks good. But maybe I am biased. ;)
I like the wheel-tire size. Fills up the wheel well with out looking like it is slammed. Has it been dropped a bit?
There isnt a "design flaw". The JZ head was designed for more high rpm operation, as already pointed out. It flows more, end of story.
With displacement the same, the torque can be about the same, but the torque will drop sooner in the 7M than the JZ head.
And yeah, I am not willing to...
How so? The highest uncorrected torque reading will be in first. The highest engine load is in the highest gear. A scan tool or DVOM on Hz will show that. Especially on a loaded dyno like the Mustang dyno.
Nice numbers on the CT. I think the bigger airflow meter helps, even...
Want to hear something hilarious. We had the 40th anniversary VE day parade in downtown in 95. And the dickhead Denver Police decided they have bigger dicks than the US Army and booted the combat vehicle. Or should I say tried to boot it.
No to the 4th gear thing. A higher gear has more load, so it used to get the highest number possible. 5th is weakest, so I believe that is why it isn't used. Because the diff takes away the 1:1 anyway.
Looks like the Cartech unit from the 80's, which used the same Spearco core. It flows very well.
Cartech still sells it as a kit for much less than HKS or Greddy. Something like 1100 for everything.
Of course, if you can get a better deal, than do it. Same unit.
Nothing taken the wrong way. You must realize that the formula is converting energy spent into numbers expressed as work done.
You don't input gearing. As gearing does not change the HP.
It is the exact same formula as the dyno uses, just in different form. Well, not the Mustang dyno, it...
You didnt post anything to contradict me though, except you dont think it is anywhere near average. That takes into account for gearing. Because it requires a certain amount of work to push the car. You left out too much info to check. You said you went 92-94 stock. With what ET? And what is...
