    MAP vs. Mas

Mass air flow is more accurate. Speed density is calculated , as already noted. Mass air flow, in a land slide, for daily drivers that can run 10's. Speed density is a good choice in stand alone though, or racing. When known quantities are used and expected, not daily driving in bad weather.

    Big brake kit ideas

If you are looking for a big brake kit, I would assume you are looking to do some track time. Drop weight, and you will get the same effect, but not to the same degree, unless you drop a lot of weight. And it is free.

    trouble with idle

I think you should look at the engine coolant temp sensor. You can still "ohm out" correctly, and have a bad sensor. The sensor uses high resistance when cold, and low when warm. You might have an inbetween problem. I know the resistance is backwards from what you think, but that is the way...

    Sport/LSD

It is kind of hard to explain on the internet. A visual demonstration is better. A differential will apply equal torque to both wheels. Not speed, torque. Those gears inside, the side gears, or spider gears, will rotate around. The clutch assembly stops the rotation. Think of having a tire on...

    Condensor Fans

Dual pressure switch is the power to the compressor, not the fans. The other switch inline with it is the high pressure switch.

    fog lights not working

The factory electrical wiring diagram is the best. It contains the component locator for relays and other electrcial devices. And the wires in the EWD are color coded to match the color on the car. The headlights share a common ground, so you probalby have lost power to that side. But it...

    A/C R-12 to R-134

The reciever dryer is by the condenser. It should have sight glass on top of it. It is a high side component. You might be thinking of the TXV. TXV is thermal expansion valve. It creates the pressure drop, lowering the refrigerant to extremely low temps.

I want somebody to use "irregardless" in a sentence. PIN number, VIN number, CAC card It isn't just like, as it isn't an oxymoron at all. But if it were a word, it would follow the idea, hence....almost.

I can help solve our national deficit

I have read that about the ethanol also. Ford built a hotrod Mustang, and it made more power than gas, but it has a totally different state of tune. Extememly aggressive, high compression, high boost needed. Those things in the end will shorten the life of the engine. The BTU energy from gas is...

I can help solve our national deficit

1)In order to supply the demand of the cars on the road, an estimated 75% of farmland would need to convert. So instead of importing oil from Canada and Mexico, we would import their food. (75% source: DOE) 2)Perfectly acceptable. User fees and a 5% income tax to be paid at years end...

    Can't get away from BHG

Now for some facts. The 4Runner has such a bad headgasket, it has service campaign. Of course, it ran some time ago and is expired now. The Supra never fails. (well, the owners do) The 4Runner has to have the 3.0 V6 and a certain production date, but you are right in there.
