    N/A Dyno Numbers

There is a big difference between 140 and 170 rwhp. Old age must really suck. The first dyno sheet does not look right. The torque should remain up like it did prior to 4500 rpm. As noted, the ACIS may not be working right. Usually, if the vacuum switching valve dies, you lose torque down...

    Electric Fans....are they worth it?

For track use, sure. For street use, electrics have gotten warm on some people.

    lsd differences....

A 5 or a 3 is a limited slip differential. All turbo models come with it. On the 7MGE, it is an option.

    What kind of oil?

Do any of you read? 10W-30 is the proper oil viscosity. A more viscous oil can be used in warm climates. This has been beat to death too many times. http://www.supramania.com/forums/search.php?searchid=395681 There are only 30 replies to oil+filter. So some of the threads will be air...

Does anyone use any engine oil additives?

Ok, so you slowed down the flow of oil with larger molecules. So what?

does somebody have casting number for lexus 550's?

The Camry Solara used the ECU to compensate for the blower. It was a mild kit, dealer installed. (and later removed due to harsh ride with springs and wheels)

    Turbos 201

He has a video of his 12 second van romping a stock LT1 F-Body at the track. Of course the answer to that is, install a turbo on the F-Body and lay down 500rwhp. Nice tech page he has.

    Water Temp 200 degrees F??

The gauge will not show high heat without the t-stat, but the engine sure as shit will be hot. As mentioned above, the coolant is not aborbing heat from the engine.

    Vacuum Test

Your reading will vary with altitude. 20-22 inches near sea level. 16-17 inches in Denver. What is your idle doing?

    Knock voltage (detonation not rod)

None, the ECU reads the frequency and amplitude. I can't say that I have hooked up a data logger and knocked on the block with a small hammer. That is one way to check. But it will pull timing and run very rich. Read the A/C removal thread about his vibrating bracket.

How much do you pay for fuel?

Oil is down to 58 a barrell. USD that is. OPEC has changed strategy again. They are holding a certain volume, instead of a price. And they think they can produce at this current volume. So prices have probably stablized.

Has anyone else run the Ron R FFI with an auto.

The A340F cable on 4WD's is certainly long. You might consider just picking one up and trying.

    Pre-lube Suggestions

Are you kidding me? Maybe he needs to call the engineers that designed engines with two combustion rings, and an oil control ring. The top ring is to control blowby. Ring number two assits ring number one and the oil control ring. In my previous post, see the attachment. I don't know what to...

    Pre-lube Suggestions

I don't want to get to far off topic, but I think you are missing some info. Microscopically, this is what happens with a bore and hone. Honing gives you the tight clearance. The very first sentence he makes kind of a monkey of himself. He says motorsports, then how the owners manual is...
