Flushing the radiator isn't as effective as having the radiator shop take it apart. A new one is expensive, but effective also. Make sure your fan clutch is still tight, and you use its shroud.
Why the new crank?
25804 is the vacuum valve for the intake air control system.
The butterfly valve in the plenum is normally open. Vacuum closes the valve. You want it open under boost.
There is a negative temperature coefficient sensor in the cooling system (ECT). The circuit needs to be working correctly for the ECU to make the correct choices. You could also have a component failure, but after you check the circuit controlling it, then you can worry about it.
I think everything is covered. The noise is from too much clearance internally or lack of fluid, such as an obstruction as noted. Bad fluid will also cause gear whine.
