Do you have documentation that says you both pay rent, such as both signed on the lease?
He can simply say, " you told him you would get the last two". What is your evidence that this is untrue?
One thing that is different is the stalling at one specific point. *Usually* that has been pickup related in my experience. I also think you should sweep the TPS, but that is not possible without a scope.
Engine load increases, fuel enrichment happens as expected, and power is lost. Take a look at how good the spark is. I didn't see very many bad coils at Toyota, but it could happen.
Pulling the EFI fuse will change fuel trim, but that is going to happen anyway. Short term fuel trim is what is used to modify the long term.
Pulling the EFI fuse never fixed a car for me. I always had to do something else first.
