You know, Ford Racing Performance Parts, formerly SVO, sells a truck driveshaft for the fox platform Mustang as an upgrade in strength over the factory stock unit. I am pretty sure they are not aluminum but alloy. Typically doped with magnesium, to make it stiffer than a wedding dick.

What part? 51 indicates the IDL contacts are not closed, or the A/C is on. If you turn on the A/C and pull codes, and you don't have a 51, that is the first problem.

Great pics IJ. Toyota did not release this or the crankshaft upgrade in the TSB's that I could find. One dealer I worked at kept a stash all the way back to the mid 80's. A new model tech book might have had it, but I haven't seen one on older models, just new ones. Thanks.
