    As post number 2 said, it is relatively cheap. In my experience where I lived, you turned in your rods for a set they already did, plus $10-12 each. They will put them on the piston too. Well, maybe.

    EGR isn't a requirement on new cars, low NOx is. Variable cam timing has eliminated EGR on Toyota also. VVTi for the win. However, it is illegal to "tamper" with any emission control device in the US. My downpipe included.

    I didn't turn to the DTC explination page but, if your Hz goes high, you set 34. I don't know if it sets for low. I think it is just another open or short electrically code.

    Open the hole on the bottom, close the hole, refil. You can even buy premix if JJ's suggestion is to much. edited for decenies sake, I am done, don't worry

    Start by refilling the resevoir and bleed it. And then start looking for the leak. Does the steering ever get better with extended use?
