Well you need to think a little bit harder. The clutching teeth on top of the ring are what hold it in. Hence, the name "clutching teeth". This isn't debatable. Perhaps you also missed this part.

1JZ max power is not at 2500 rpm. Power in a car is refrenced as work, which is horsepower. Torque is the maximum force an engine can produce. That number is possible, especially with VVTi.

A simple but very slightly time consuming way would be to remove the circuit opening relay on any Toyota. Even better would be a mock up relay with no internal connectivity. So if the thief has knowledge, which they usually do, and run a quick visual, they might just leave your car.
