    poor idle after warm restart

Is cross count an input when the IDL contacts are closed? I don't see where it is. But then again, I have no refrence in front of me, only the interent. http://www.autoshop101.com/forms/h26.pdf It is hard sometimes to diagnose a car you aren't looking at. I think he has a small mechanical...

    starting issue

The first real test is to check open circuit voltage on the starter at the big wire, and switched voltage on the small wire when the key is in the start position. After the battery is load tested.

    Engine Light, and Stalling issue...

Must have been the seafoam. Salt water isn't the best thing for an engine.

    starting issue

Does the engine crank over? Can you jump start it? I assume you have not load tested the battery at this point.

    poor idle after warm restart

You had a rough idle when restarted warm with the OEM pump? The FPU is only for a moment, to get it running.

    poor idle after warm restart

You can bleed down through the check valve on the pump, the regulator, or the injectors. Provided it isn't leaking externaly, you are leaking from one of the other places. Provided your test was legitimate.

    **MY LOSS** 91 supra

I know. It is sarcasm. All ice looks the same. I grew up driving on it. Learn to drive people. Quit making excuses for driving too fast on a wet road when below freezing. Seriously, glad he is ok, our cars aren't actually important.

    **MY LOSS** 91 supra

First, glad he is ok. Second, I am wondering what black ice is. Anything like green or yellow ice?

    poor idle after warm restart

Above with JJ, and back to the FPR. He was right in post number 2, just not with the name. There is a second fuel pressure up valve just for hot starts. And it is vacuum switch controlled. Toyota called it the fuel pressure up valve. The VSV is behind the alternator. An easy check is to pull...

    6M/7M crankshafts

6M is counter balanced. All crankshafts are. Not all crankshafts are balanced to zero by drilling or weighting.

    Automatic Transmission Question

The A341 had a 2.50:1 first gear when it debuted. You don't want it. The A342 is supposed to be the performance trans, but was never used in the states. And I have never seen published tech info from Toyota on it. I suspect the differences are in the valve body. One other thing of note. I...

500rwhp with lexus afm and 550 rc ???

Smokey Yunick was quoted as saying "how fast do you want to spend" In response to how fast can you make my car.

    Automatic Transmission Question

Since the valve body is electronic, you can make your own manual shifter. Or buy one from somebody else. The 2JZ uses an updatd stornger version of the A340 than the 7MGTE. The A341 is for the original 4.0 V8. The 1JZ used a version called the A342. I don't know much about it, as it wasn't...

Power antenna , took the thing appart

In terms of fitment, you know I always favor the dealer. Not to be confused with most of you wanting to increase engine output. I have ordered from Champion/Jay Marks. I like their website.

Power antenna , took the thing appart

I haven't had to change one on my any of my Supras. But all the Toyota's I did at the dealer used the plastic cable inside the antenna mast with teeth wrapped around the gear. You can get a new mast, they might even be interchangable. The mast can come seperate from the antenna assembly.

500rwhp with lexus afm and 550 rc ???

My only question is why on the Lex? I have it, it runs great. No questions asked. I beat fuel cut. But 500 rwhp is a lot, and has been done on the Lex meter. But stand alone would give you much better control and drivability, as you aren't lying to the ECU by scaling your AFM. I haven't...
