Toyota doesn't want the car to burn to the ground. It can and does happen.
1. Disconnect the battery ground, move it so it won't hook up.
2. Unbolt it, hold it up, while you take the big wire and small wire off.
3. Borrow tools from a pro if he lets you and you are buddies.
4. Ask him to do it if you are not sure. No shame in that.

I just looked at the EWD. The signal is a ground. Glad you got it going.
Does it look like physical damage inside? Those switches can get broken off when people try to slimjim the lock.
If you did it right, you have an interupted signal to the antitheft ECU. The lock has a circular switch, and it signals the ECU that you opened the door with the key, and not a hammer through the window.
About as evenly over a front facing intake's air charge as opposed to a center one. :nono:
Include the EGR. They can always run a block off plate with a different ECM like now.
