AEM is not compatible with the A340E. You need a stand alone like Suprastick. The TCCS sends the throttle position sensor signal in lue of the throttle valve cable. It won't upshift.
Yes, on a 2000 Corolla. Meaning a short block just coming apart. It has been a while so I am not sure on the year. Manufacturing defects do happen. I don't know that is your problem, but that looks like a fairly clean break. By clean I mean going across and not following the weight. The Corolla...
To expound...
I don't remember the number off the top of my head. But one of Toyota's books is more or less on how to use the scan tool. It is a class to be taken after all the others are done. In it, they mention strategy and priority. In case you couldn't figure it out from the base lessons...
I realize this is old, but there are some here that do this proffessionaly and are paid well. Paid well comes with knowing how it works and why. Toyota, as well as others, have publications available on this subject and many others.
I wouldn't do that unless I had a reason to change them. Use the following page plus the next one. That should narrow it down real quick.

The solenoids are either off or on to give you 4 speeds. If it feels like you are in 3rd, you probably are. A quick check is to unplug the trans and let it shift using hydraulic pressures only. If it drives normal, it is an electrical/control problem and not the valve body itself. Electrical...
So....you bought the car from an insurance sale after the stolen car was recovered? The ignition might fix the problem. You need power from it for the PCM to run. I don't know what condition your switch is in with a screw driver jammed in there.
What do you mean you switched wires on the CPS? The PCM is looking for a specific signal, and they are not interchangable. Go ahead and ground it. But that also will not cause one of three coils to not fire. Fire weak, sure.
You answered your own question. If the coolant boils (which it doesn't) don't you want the coolant there to handle heat rather than replace them from coking?

So to recap, you did see the Hemi Charger and its 15.5 @ 91, and the 130 mph supercharged LS9 Corvette ZR1 could only muster 113 trap. I used to race here. It is rough at high altitudes.
That is nice, but it is missing important information from the charts. Such as pressure ratio at which it can flow those numbers. Not even the vaunted 2JZGTE flows anywhere near what an L92 head flows. Just as an example.
