Nowhere have I "bashed" the swap. Only stated the fact that it's going to be grossly underpowered in stock form, not bulletproof like others think, and definatly not the easy swap you see it to be. I wish him the best, but being different is never ever cheap.

Keep in mind that MKII's aren't usually owned by kids that drive the snot out of them, not to mention the 7M is turbocharged and people neglect the cooling system. Or how about it having to move a fat pig of a car?
