The rears need shims for the disks and offset inserts for the calipers to work correctly. The fronts would need brackets, ect. Some peopl have used the entire MKIV hub, but that has issues as well.
Not to mention that the front brakes for a MKIV aren't cheap at all and arz's wilwood setup...
I agree, I'd remove the bolts/nuts and then pull it away from the engine and let it sit there.
As the rail is higher than the tank you'll lose some fuel from the rail and the pressure, but it's not going to drain on you. Another good tip is to open the fuel filler cap so you don't have...
Most trannies won't take a mis-shift at that level, so that's something to keep in mind as well.
The V-160 with a stock rear gear isn't going to be ideal as you'll be shifting more often. You'd have to find a higher gear ratio (numerically lower).
Nice, now talk to Marlin and ask him with the thrust washers fail.
They fail from the gear back becoming loose and hammering the sintered thrust washer until it breaks.
I don't care what your friend does. Replacing syncros and bearings in a tranny without checking tolerances is a good way...
I could see doing it on a talon since the motor is interference and they have belt issues. On our cars, nope.
I swear the one that was on my engine was original and was fine until the guide on the lower timing gear came off and the belt started shredding...
Yep, quick history lesson.
Motorola is the reason we have car radios as before they found a way of shielding the radio from the ignition system, radios just picked up all the noise.
Kinda funny that there name is because of this but they don't do car stereos anymore...
