got the pistons out today, all the rings looked fine along w/ the rod bearings. looked like very little wear, even the crank journals look fine. im starting to think i shoulda left this motor together... DOH! im just wonderin how the F im supossed to get the crank pulley off now .... :( pics...

thats just a dress up kit, you cant see the clamps but they're under the end pieces.

hmm, im gonna have to talk to a couple friends of mine and see if i can get some discounts. im still gonna get the ebay gasket kit so i can have all the gaskets i need (cept the MHG which ill get). hoses are getting all replaced.

any suggestions on a decent cheap replacement, i wont be upgrading from the stock turbo for the next couple years so i dont need much more than OEM.

thanks for the advice guys, ill be staying away from these but i really dont wanna spend too much on the motor, maybe ill just wait till the motor comes out before i decide if i need new pistons. also how necessary is it to change the oil pump?
