yea the one for the alarm, it basically just bypasses it so the car will start even if the alarm is activated. im not 100% on this but from reading up on it u might have to delete the switch @ the bottom of the clutch pedal. only downside to this is, if you try to race the car you wont be...
well i still got all the electronics and wiring from the 87 which i cant use so if it is a wiring problem we should be able to fix it asap.
and once again, did ya try starting it? i just wanna know if you heard the click from the relay in the kickpanel or not. that would rule out a few things.
lemme know when u pick up the car and ill see if i can convince the g/f to drive me down there and we'll see if we cant figure it out.
did you try starting it?
also how bad was the rust on the wheel wells? i just looked @ the pics he sent to my e-mail and they're higher res so i can see more...
do it man, i paid 700 for the black one i have knowing all i wanted was the motor. get me some closer pics of the rust and ill let u know how much for a fresh coat of paint. from what i can see the rear wheel well, pass door, front fender, and rocker panel all have rust. it'll take a lot of work...
well just remember i have this 87 here thats prolly gonna go to the scrapyard after im done and i strip it of all useable parts. unless of course someone wants to buy it. so if u need a part that u dont have lemme know.
oh ya, just tried posting pics but can't upload em, computer is bein ghey...
i say fix it, i bought 2 supras for $800, rebuilt the motor and repainted the car for about $2000 (including the 800 i paid for the cars)
got everything off SM members and Ebay.
you could always sell the parts you have sittin in your closet for some cash to get the parts to rebuild it.
Well i just picked up my head and block from the shop. he took .010 off the block and .015 off the head. which MHG do i need to keep the stock compression? im thinkin im gonna need a 2.0mm MHG but im not 100% on this. can you guys help me out?
yea isnt that the NA? its not in bad shape from what i could tell when i went to look @ it. but it cant be the same kid unless his dad is sellin it. he got shipped out Jan 14th.
fine, u get your pics tomorrow when i get back from pickin up the engine.
im wondering if this might actually be the fastest build on here. :sarcasm: :biglaugh:
soooooo, just sent payment for full gasket set, rod and main bearings, thrust washers, std. size pistons and rings, water pump, timing belt and tensioner. MHG will be ordered once i find out how much material the machine shop had to remove.
