    Motoring J Style drift

Yeah, that is me that he pulled up behind, lol. The turbo worked great, spools super fast and i got it pushin more boost that my old upgraded CT. The Megans worked great too, but its those damn big tires and lack of steering angle. I may do a couple more drifts but i think i'm going to focus on...

    Drifting Suspension

Yeah, Megans for the price. I just stuck mine on and they're awesome. You can make them low if you completely screw the body up and let the spring all the way down. That got it low for me, but for the drift this weekend i had to put it back up so the fender wouldn't shred my tire, lol. Next i'd...

    Motoring J Style drift

I'll get some pics loaded up on here tomorrow, but i just wanted to post about the Motoring J Style drift event in Vallejo this weekend. I got out there with my new Megan setup and what a world of difference that was! So much stiffer and better. I was able to control the car much much better but...

Update, i got the Megans and they are AWESOME. For $900 i don't think you can get a better bang for the buck suspension for an MK3. Super stiff, no body roll, just the right height. Good preload on the springs keeps weight from transfering and anything from rubbing. You would kick monstrous @$$...

    DORI DORI - Drifting 7/5/07

BTW, the Megan Racing track coils. are fricking awesome. I can guarantee the Koni/RSR setup isn't hard enough. I looked into many alternatives before going with the Megans. 18kg in front, 14 in rear. Harder than RSR springs unless you get a custom spring made, but for $900 shipped those Megans...

    DORI DORI - Drifting 7/5/07

Yeah, its that steering angle that was killling my drifts at Motoring J. Not enuf angle to pull me out of the slide. That is when i could manage to induce a slide with 275's on the rear

    Isn't anyone racing this year?

I'm drifting pretty regularly in NorCal, but with my new suspension i think i'm gonna start sticking to Time Trial, Enduro, and maybe autocross. Its faster than drifting, and drifting just doesn't thrill me anymore

I just posted in the "suspension q's" thread but i've been havin that body roll prob. drifting and autocrossing. Check out the Megan racing track series coilovers. Their front rates are 18kg and rears 14 kgs. So super stiff you shouldn't get any body roll. I've got Bilsteins w/ TRD Springs and...

    Suspension setup q's?

I can support those Tokico blow out stories. The previous owner of my car had Illumina's the blew out after 3 months, then i bough the car and 2 years later and only 10,000 miles (not much driving) they were blown again. So i got Bilsteins on TRD springs and have had reliable damping for the...
